Anthony P.F. Turner name is synonymous with the field of Biosensors and in 2010 he joined IFM-Linköping to create a new Centre for Biosensors and Bioelectronics. His previous thirty-five year academic career in the UK culminated in the positions of Principal of Cranfield University at Silsoe and Distinguished Professor of Biotechnology.
Hisatoshi Kobayashi is a group leader of WPI Research center MANA,National Institute for Material Science, Tsukuba Japan. He is also affiliated with several organization including Visiting Professor of Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology, Japan; Adjunct Professor, University of Allahabad,India, and Honorary Guest Professor of Denbandhu Chotu Ram University of Science & Technology, India. At present he plays a role in President of International Association of Advanced Materials (IAAM); Councilor of Japanese Society for Biomaterials; Consultant of Global Healthcare Company, etc. In his academic carrier, he has published more than 180 publications, papers, books,and patents in the field of biomaterial science and technology. His expertise is Biomaterial science,biopolymers, biodegradable polymers, Nano- composites, Nano-fibers, Ophthalmologic devices,Orthopaedic devices, etc. His current research interest is cell-nano-materials, tissues-nanomaterials interactions. Based on the information, he is focused on design and development of highly functionalized biodegradable scaffold for tissue engineering, nano-composite for medical devices, etc.
Xuemei Wang is currently a full professor in Southeast University, Nanjing, China. Date of birth is 07-10-1968. She got her PhD degree in Chemistry from Nanjing University in 1995; From February of 1995 to June of 1996 she is a lecturer in Department of Chemistry in Nanjing University. In 1996 she got the Alexander von Humboldt fellowship in Germany and engaged in the research of supramolecular chemistry and relevant application for bio-molecular recognition. After returning to China in February of 1998, she joined as a professor in school of Biological Science and Medical Engineering, Southeast University. In 2000, she was awarded Hong Kong Croucher Research Fund and Chinese Chemical Society Youth Award in Chemistry. She won Chinese Young Woman Scientist Award in 2007. In 2013, she won National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholar in China. Her current research interests include nanomedicine, bio-imaging and biosensors, especially focusing on design of multifunctional nanostructures for nanomedicine, in vivo self-bio-labelling of tumors through in-situ biosynthesized biocompatible metal nanoclusters, multimode bio-imaging strategies and biosensors based on multifunctional nanoscale probes.
Yanglong Hou is a Changjiang Chair Professor of Materials Science and Engineering at Peking University (PKU). He received his M. S. degree (in Applied Chemistry) in 1998 and Ph.D. degree (in Materials Science) in 2000, respectively, from Harbin Institute of Technology. He accepted a postdoctoral fellowship from Peking University, and two years later became JSPS foreign special researcher at the University of Tokyo and postdoctoral research associate at Brown University. In December 2007, Dr. Hou jointed College of Engineering at PKU, where he was appointed as tenure-track Professor. Dr Hou’s current research focuses on the design and chemical synthesis of functional nanoparticles and graphene, and their biomedical and energy-related applications. Dr. Hou has co-authored over 110 refereed journal papers, 30 conference and invited presentations, 6 book chapters, and held about 11 issued/applied patents. Dr. Hou is an adjunct Professor of Harbin Insitute of Technology, Xiamen University, China. He has received several international and national awards, including JSPS fellow in 2003, Outstanding Young Investigator of National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) in 2011, the CCS-RSC Young Chemist Award in 2013, etc. Professor Hou is currently an Editorial Board Member of several international journals including Advanced Science (Wiley), Scientific Reports (Nature Publishing Group), and Rare Metals, etc.
Genxi Li received his BA in Polymer Chem., MA in Analytical Chemistry, and PhD also in Analytical Chemistry, from the Chemistry Department at Nanjing University, China, in 1988, 1991, and 1994, respectively. Then, he was a postdoctor in the Biochemistry Department also at this University, and in 1996, he was an Associated Professor, from 2001, a full professor. He worked as a visiting scholar in the Department of Biology, Munich University, Germany, in 1998; Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Tohoku University, Japan, in 1999, and Department of Biological Chemistry and Molecular Pharmacology, Harvard University, USA, in 2000. From 2006, he is also a Professor affiliated with the School of Life Sciences, Shanghai University, China. From January in 1999 to May in 2010, he was the Chair of the Biochemistry Department at Nanjing University, and from November in 2008 to October in 2011, he was the Dean of the School of Life Sciences at Shanghai University. He was the former Vice-president and Secretary-General of the Chinese Protein Society, and currently, member of the Council of several societies in China. He is also a member of the editorial board of Scientific Reports and several others. His research interests include biosensor and analytical biochemistry.

Deadline for accommodation bookings
The delegates must confirm accommodation by 30 October 2016, therefore accommodation bookings after that date cannot be guaranteed. The rates quoted are only valid for bookings made by 30 October 2016.
No accommodation payments will be refunded. Delegates who confirm an accommodation booking with due payment and who cancel or delegates, who fail to board on the 11 March 2017, will be charged for the entire cost of their accommodation.
Late bookings can be made through the ASAMC online registration/accommodation system after 30 October 2016 but are subject to availability with the current price.
Check-in and Check-out
As check-in is at 12:00 on 11 March 2017 and check-out is at 07:00 on 16 March 2017. Your room may not be ready for immediate occupation on 11 March 2017 before 17:00.
You will failure to board on the Diamond Princess cruise if arrive at the terminal after 14.00 on 11 March 2017 in the Singapore.

1. Asian Advanced Materials Award
The Asian Advanced Materials (ASAM) Award will be honoured by the IAAM for notable and outstanding research in the field of Advanced Materials Science & Technology. The purpose of the award is to recognize outstanding international research work in Advanced Materials. Across the world any researcher engaged in research in the field of Advanced Materials Science & Technology is eligible for this Award. The Prize is awarded on the basis of contributions made through work done during the ten years preceding the year of the Prize.
The Advanced Materials Award comprising a citation, a plaque and a medal. The final selection for the award will be done by a duly constituted committee and the award used to be given at the opening ceremony of Asian Advanced Materials Congress.

2. IAAM Scientist and Young Scientist Awards
International Association of Advanced Materials (IAAM) will honour several ‘IAAM Scientist’ and ‘young scientist awards’ to the best speakers, oral and poster presentations during ASAMC-2017.
The selection for the IAAM scientist and young scientist awards will be done by a duly constituted committee. Audience will also take part in the selection procedure by their respective voting.
3. AML Award
The Advanced Materials Letters (AML) award is honored annually by the VBRI Press (www.vbripress.com) for notable and outstanding research contribution to the Advanced Materials Letters.
Eligibility of Award:
The final selection for the award will be done by a duly constituted committee headed by the Editor-in-Chief, Advanced Materials Letters. The AML award comprising a citation with a plaque and the award will be given during the annual award assembly in end of each year.
